Trimming

Providing automotive coach trimming services for all vintage, veteran, sports or classic cars. From a simple repair to a full interior re-trim or bespoke project. Trimming in different materials including leather, vinyl, alcantara and fabric.

Everything we do is tailored to your car. Whether it is a hood, seat or carpet, we make it completely custom to fit as it should. Using materials that are period correct, unless in certain aspects, we are aiming to improve on how something may have been made originally, this depends on the desired aim of the customer. Hand made bespoke interior panels from wood, metal, fibreglass or aluminium.

Bespoke Projects

Working with our clients to achieve their aim of a bespoke interior, completely tailored to their goal.

Please see in our gallery, a c-type we trimmed for a customer who had two aims. One; to be able to fit in it as he was on the tall side. Two; to have a more luxurious feel, similar to a Jaguar XK. Removal of the original bucket seats, a custom seat back and bases were made, trimmed in Connolly Vaumol leather.

Veterans and Buttoning

Veteran cars seen on events like the London to Brighton veteran event. Trimming carriages with buttoned seats using traditional materials like horse hair to keep the original look you would have seen at the time.

Conservation and Colour Restoration

To conserve the original interior, it is taken apart, the leather strengthened where needed with a backing material and then reinstated. New leather is also made to match the existing trim and distressed to match. Colour restoration is for clients who would like an interior freshened up, this doesn’t mean we change the colour, what we do is to restore the material to the original colour.

Fabric Bodies

Fabric bodies – this is the process of covering an ash frame body in weather proof hooding which is available in various colours.

Dynamat and Sound Deadening

Installing dynamat before the installation carpet or interior panels.

We work in association with www.classiccarstorage.co.uk. CCS have over 30 years experience in vehicle storage options, both around short and longer term vehicle storage.
